Researchers from the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis and Photochemistry are participating in the “30th IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry”, being held in Zagreb, Croatia, from July 12 to 17. Prof. Uwe Pischel delivered the oral presentation entitled “Photoswitchable Heteroaryl-Iminothioindoxyls: Tuning of Optical Properties and Thermal Back Isomerization.” Meanwhile, predoctoral student Germán Blandón Cumbreras presented the poster “Exploiting the B–N/C–C Isosterism for Designing Organoboron Dyes Inspired by Nile Red.”
